Melbourne quintet Future Static create an exhilarating synthesis of alternative, melodic, and progressive to shape a unique brand of emotional heavy music which is unlike any other. Now one Australia’s most talked about breakthrough heavy acts, Future Static are set to unveil their highly anticipated full-length debut album, 'Liminality', on November 24th, 2023, via Wild Thing Records. Following taking the Australian live circuit by storm and their first international touring adventures, the release of 'Liminality' marks the next step in the band’s hugely promising career. An innate fusion of metalcore, progressive metal, alternative rock, and pop sensibilities, 'Liminality' is exemplified by its profound singles; the emotionally charged, hard hitting anthem 'Roach Queen', the effervescent 'Plated Gold' - featuring guest vocals from Sean Harmanis of Make Them Suffer, and acclaimed earlier singles 'Waves' and 'Venenosa'. 'Liminality' also highlights the group’s breathtaking lead vocal tandem, with bassist Kira Neil showcasing her vocal talents and magical chemistry alongside the electrifying Melbourne born, Barcelona raised front-woman Amariah Cook; underlined on the progressive labyrinth 'The Hourglass' and alt-pop-core sensation 'Chemical Lobotomy'. 'Liminality' represents residing in a state of limbo and emptiness, a fitting title for an album written during the extreme Melbourne lockdowns, with the record evolving into their most collaborative and diverse work to date. The album was produced, mixed, and mastered by Christopher Vernon (Windwaker, The Beautiful Monument), accompanied by the music videos of fabled director Colin Jeffs (Make Them Suffer, Alpha Wolf). Artwork was helmed by guitarist Jack Smith, with 'Liminality' portraying the space between materialising and deteriorating in serene nothingness. Future Static ushered in a new era with the release of 2021 single 'Waves' (Wild Thing Records); the debut of charismatic new singer Amariah Cook, raising the group’s profile to another stratosphere. The track landed ‘Featured Artist Of The Week’ on both Triple J Unearthed (AU) and Kerrang! Radio (UK), with Alex Baker of the latter proclaiming “big things are on the horizon for this band”. 'Waves' became a staple of Spotify and Apple editorial playlists, and Triple J radio spins, with its striking music video rising above 120k YouTube views. 2022’s potent follow up single Venenosa solidified the band’s status, with Wall Of Sound (AU) asserting “there is a massive future awaiting this band…this band is about to erupt”. Further international presence across Spotify, Apple, Kerrang! Radio, and New Noise Magazine (US) was realised, while back at home, Triple J further championed the band with radio plays, and Unearthed rotation/‘Track Of The Day’. The supercharged metal reimagining of 'Gasolina' (Daddy Yankee cover), firmly put the band on the radar of heavy music fans worldwide, landing international coverage with the likes of SiriusXM (US), 89FM - A Rádio Rock (BR), Wikimetal (BR), and Metal Hammer (UK). The band’s debut festival performance at 2021’s Knight & Day had ‘What We Did On The Weekend’ declaring they were “the highlight of the festival…they were made for the big festival stage”. Following winning the much-coveted Triple J Unearthed Unify slot, Future Static dropped a show-stopping performance at Unify Forever Festival 2022. The group then carried out an extensive national touring regime, including sharing the stage with RedHook, Windwaker, Caligula’s Horse, Bloom, and Circles. Capping off a successful year, the band showcased at Bigsound to high industry praise, performed at Alpha Wolf’s CVLTFEST, and landed Australian tour support for Ukraine’s progressive metal powerhouse Jinjer. 2023 has seen the band hand-chosen as special guests for Australia’s Eurovision stars Voyager and USA’s Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows, along with an appearance on Unify’s Off The Record Tour. The group concluded their first international jaunt across Europe and the UK in September-October 2023, incluing appearances at legendary German festivals Reeperbahn and Euroblast. On album release week, Future Static will be joining German superstars Electric Callboy on their sold out Australian tour, with future international dates on the horizon; including the recently announced UK’s Radar Festival. Future Static are primed to make a lasting impression on the global stage, bringing its visceral fusion of heavy and alternative sub-genres to the world at large.

An ensuing viral online fanbase transpired, strongly devoted to the band’s playthroughs, gear demo, and music videos, sparking a series of industry signings; Wild Thing Music Group (management), Wild Thing Records (label), and Sheet Happens Publishing (sheet music). In addition, The Omnific forged close-knit partnerships with internationally renowned companies Darkglass Electronics, Neural DSP, and Dingwall Guitars, influentially representing these brands online.   With their musical craft truly unique and a live show unlike any other, The Omnific stands tall as the world’s most prominent bass driven instrumental rock act.
Melbourne prog/alt metal giants Circles announce their momentous return, with the highly anticipated release of new single Sleepwalking, out July 13, 2022 via Wild Thing Records. In the midst of being in the longest locked down city in the world, the group found solace in writing the next chapter of the Circles story, which commences now with the release of Sleepwalking. Sleepwalking gets straight to the point in showcasing how the band are evolving their sound and songwriting, whilst demonstrating familiar elements that have attracted a loyal fanbase over their extensive career. The new single was produced by Circles’ own Ted Furuhashi, music video directed by the band’s David Hunter, with the track mastered by Luke Cincotta (Karnivool - Asymmetry). Circles’ textured approach to alt/prog/metal soars on Sleepwalking with their artful and sensitive exploration to songwriting. Whether they’re marching through angular heavy riffs, tip- toeing across delicate electronics, or bobbing in subtle clean waves, the band takes you on an unforgettable journey that demands attention. Circles’ sophomore record The Last One (2018), an album of tremendous power via Wild Thing Records/Season Of Mist, was the group’s debut with front-man Ben Rechter, whose lush dynamic voice became a signature of Circles’ ever expanding sound. With guitarist Rechter assuming the role of lead vocalist and fellow band members Furuhashi (guitar/backing vocals), Hunter (drums), and Drew Patton (bass guitar/screamed vocals) providing a maelstrom of musical brutality, The Last One was incredibly well received worldwide. The release landed the chart positions of #3 AIR Independent Albums and #47 ARIA Digital Albums, while reaching close to 3 million Spotify streams worldwide, and a No.4 spot on the TheMusic’s Album of The Year (2018 Writers Poll). Circles’ tour-de-force live show has taken them across Australia, Europe, and the UK, complemented by festivals such as Euroblast, Prog Power, and Progfest, and a touring history with some of the who’s who of international progressive/alternative heavy music; The Dillinger Escape Plan, Opeth, Fear Factory, Periphery, TesseracT, and Twelve Foot Ninja, to name a few. Formed in 2010, Circles have constantly been at the forefront of progressive heavy music, with their musical foundations becoming a strong component of the worldwide djent movement. Earlier releases from UK’s Basick Records, 2011’s EP The Compass and 2013’s Infinitas, garnered unanimously positive reaction from fans and critics across the globe.
Budapest alternative rock quintet Shell Beach traverse the lines of post-hardcore and experimental, showcasing their intangible gift for introspective songwriting infused with their unique atmospheric alt rock sound.
