Since April of 2020 when Atreyu and i "parted ways" , i have become obsessed with having major control and input over every aspect of @deadicarusmusic and my music. 1 write all the vocals and lyrics (with harmony ideas from the riff lord @deathmetalgypsy) i have designed all the artwork, merch, 90% of the ads, recorded and edited the vocal playthroughs) (again with some big help from the amazing Gabe). I chose and gave my amazing video director some ideas that he ran with. He was the only guy i wanted to work with and i got him. Now I'm writing riffs and songs ideas for the new album. Who knows if they will see the light of day, but you never know unless you try. Years ago the situation i was in, I stopped caring and trying .simply put my heart didn't believe in where i was. Now my heart is where i am. We are in the same place. The difference in focus and drive is palpable. Don't let anyone hold you back, especially yourself.
